This is almost certainly happening because you are forced to use the universal drivers which don't support the special functions of the MFP printers such as scanning and faxing ('imaging device' is referring to the scanner) . The only way to resolve the warnings would be to us the full-featured drivers. You could set up separate instances of all the printers that use the full driver and teach your users to select the instance that uses the universal driver for the proprietary software. If that's not feasible, just learn to accept the warnings and ignore them. All it means is you can't scan from the workstation using that particular driver.

Many of hp's current MFPs let you scan from the device and send directly to computers wirelessly so that's another option. Either way, the warnings don't really affect your current setup.
